Of Pedals and Perspectives: Capturing Singapore on Two Wheels
Curation, Motion Graphic, Photo and Video Editing by Shyon Toh.
“Capturing Singapore on Two Wheels” is a quiet ode to motion — a journey of embracing active living through the rhythm of cycling, tracing Singapore’s cityscape with lens and pedal. Each ride became a frame, each pause a photograph, as the narrative unfolded in stills and moving scenes.
What began as a digital voyage found its way into the tangible — a handmade zine, stitched with intention, adding touch to the visual tale. Its cover, printed on transparent film, gently overlays a foldable bike atop the city’s icons, mirroring the layered experience of travel, memory, and place.
